Measuring and Modelling Evaporation Losses from Wet Branches of Lemon Trees

Evaporation losses of rainfall intercepted by canopies depend on many factors, including the temporal scale observations. At event scale, interception is a few millimetres, whereas at larger number times that canopy filled and then depleted can make an important fraction depth. Recently, simplified interception/evaporation model has been proposed, which considers modified Merrian to compute during wet spells simple power-law equation evaporation from dry spells. Modelling process sub hourly required two parameters power-law, describing depth rate. In this paper, for branches lemon trees, we focused starting capacity, S, models in addition were applied tested. particular, different temperature, T, vapour pressure deficit, VPD, conditions, numerous experimental testes carried out, determined linked VPD S. The results obtained work help us understand studied process, highlight its complexity, could be implemented recently introduced quantify component hydrologic cycle.
